This is another very pretty cue from Mike Capone. It's another merry widow, this time in purpleheart. As with all Mike's cues, the beauty isn't in the complexity of the cue as much as it is in his choice of woods and clean, tight work that results in a simple, classy cue.

The purpleheart in this cue is nice and bright. Purpleheart fans will find it to be about as good as it gets. The black linen wrap, tightly pressed, looks almost like leather, but has the distince linen feel that a lot of people love.

He uses delicate LBM rings to add important distinctive detail. They look great at all locations - above the butt cap, below and above the wrap, at the joint and on the ring collar of each shaft.

Mike finishes this cue off with a black phenolic butt cap and a black phenolic joint. All the aesthetic details are nicely balanced throughout the cue.

He uses his custom-made stainless steel radial pin in a flat-faced joint. Each of his pins is egraved with a stylized "C", followed by the words "Capone Custom Cue." It's a nice touch, and always identifies his cues.

This cue comes with two 13mm shafts of premium maple with LBM ferrules. It weighs only 18.0 ounces, so can be kept light, or a weight pin can be added to make a little heavier. This is a great cue - simple, but classy.
