ARIEL CARMELI
FOUR POINT MAPLE
AND SNAKEWOOD CUE
Here is a beautiful cue made by Ariel Carmeli. It's a basic four point birdseye maple cue with snakewood points and butt sleeve. But the choices of beautiful birdseye and gorgeous snakewood, dressed up with classic inlays makes it anything but basic.
The snakewood in this cue is incredible. It shows particularly well in the butt sleeve, and acts as the perfect background for the simple array of diamond and dot inlays of LBM melamine.
He uses the same inlay concept in the points - more diamonds and dots.
| |
This is a clean, elegant design. The snakewood against the hard maple nose presents a classic and traditional look.
He finishes the handle with a beautiful brown elephant wrap. It goes perfectly with this cue and has a nice feel to it. And, it will wear forever.
I really like the rings on this stick - a check pattern of snakewood and melamine bordered on both sides by a ring of ebony. He builds the rings at all locations ... A,B,C,D and E.
He builds it with a flat-faced joint housed in a melamine sleeve, with a 3/8X10 modified stainless steel pin. He signs and dates it under the finish in the maple between the points. He also adds a melamine butt cap to complete the balance of the appearance.
It comes with two 13mm shafts with LBM melamine ferrules and Triangle tips. It weighs 18.7 ounces. This is a gorgeous cue for the price, and has the built-in playability that Carmeli cues are known for.
PRICE: $2175
Note: The cue qualifies as a Recollection Cues IvoryFree© cue.
