PK CUE BY CODY CASH
BRIDGED FOUR POINT IN IMPREGNATED MAPLE
COMPETITION ENTRY AT 2025 BILLIARDS SUPEREXPO

Cody Cash, from Wichita, Kansas is making some wonderful cues on a regular basis.  This cue, using a green inpregnated maple burl blank, turned out to be maybe the prettiest cue I've seen him make.  It was his entry in the 2025 Billiards Superexpo competition for Best New Cue, and while it didn't win the competition, it certainly represented him well.

l suppose the beautiful green carmelized wood is the star of this stick, but the delicate silver wire inlay work runs a close second.  This is a well-designed cue that plays as good as it looks.

He builds it using four bridged ebony points in both directions, which look great against the blue-green background, and allow him to show off his veneer work.  This is a very classy cue.

The deep rich bluish green wood is luscious in the stick.  It's almost three-dimensional, with the natural whirls of the burl and the way the color flows within the wood.

The veneer colors are perfect for this cue - blue, natural, and blue again.  The natural maple is bleached out to almost white.  Together they blend perfectly against the dark background.

This veneer color combination does a great job of pulling the ebony and blue-green maple burl together in this stick.

He does a very classy job of inlaying a simple silver wire braid around the cue just above and below the wrap in the ebony.  It adds a lot of class to the stick.

At the base of each point he inlays a silver Fleur d'Lis pattern along with three silver dots, working combination with the silver wire braid inlay for a great overall effect.

He uses a nice piece of black lizard leather for the handle, and it is exquisite as it is framed between the silver braid work.  It's a very handsome cue.

The wrap looks good, and feels even better.  It's a nice addition to the overall beauty of this stick.

The ringwork in this cue is very nice as well.  He uses three concentric  silver rings, but the middle ring is interrupted at regular intervals with small silver inlays surrounding small abalone diamonds. There's a lot of detail work in this cue.

He builds it with a white LBM joint and butt cap.  As always, Cody engraves his PK logo in the butt cap.

He uses a 3/8X10 steel pin in a flat-faced joint.  It is 58 inches long and weighs 18.8 ounces (15.0, 3.8,3.8).  It comes with two 13mm premium maple shafts with Juma ferrules and medium LePro tips.  This is a classy cue by an upcoming cue maker with a big future.
