FOUR POINT HOPPE-STYLE
IN MAPLE WITH MAPLE BURL

This is a classic four point design with a "Hoppe" style butt in traditional maple with stabilized maple burl points and butt sleeve. It's a very pretty cue, highlighted by flame veneers.

The rock-hard maple nose is accented with nice curls and bright maple color. The veneers - black, orange, yellow and maple - are framed cleanly with the outer ebony layer.

For the handle, he covers it with a beautifully toned brown leather textured wrap. It's the perfect complement to the maple burl. At the top of the wrap he adds a black ring that gives nice separation between the wrap and the base of the points.

Each point is inlaid with a very traditional notched mother of pearl diamond, outlined in ebony. Very nice and tight work.

The butt sleeve is of beautiful stabilized maple burl. It shows outstanding grain and figure, and was the biggest reason I couldn't resist buying it. I knew someone would love this wood.

At the butt cap, he builds in a Hoppe style ring (all white in this cue is LBM), and caps it with black phenolic. He then engraves his logo (name) on the white ring.

As usual, he builds this one with nice, crisp rings at the joint and on the ring collars of the shafts - nice white and ebony check rings framed between two very thin white rings.

He builds this stick with a flat-faced LBM joint with his standard 3/8X10 steel pin for great playability. It weighs 18.8 ounces. It comes with two 13 mm shafts with matching ringwork, Tomahawk ferrules and Triangle tips. This is a beautiful and very sporty cue.
