BOBBY HUNTER
FULL SPLICE FOUR POINT

Many of you know the name Bobby Hunter as a player, but in recent years this top competitor has also become well-known as a cuemaker.  Even more recently, he has become known as a top cuemaker.  At Recollection Cues, we're proud to be representing his work.

Bobby has had a reputation all along for making cues that really play well, but is now making some of the most intricately designed cues on the market, rivalling some of the work Black Boar is doing.

This cue is a basic player's model - a simple four point cue made from a John Davis blank, with veneer colors reminiscent of a Titleist cue.

John Davis full splice blanks are well-known and have a good reputation for playability and quality.  You can see why in this one.  What I like about them is that the points always seem to come together right at the top of the wrap, rather than an inch or two higher.  I prefer the symmetry of these.

This one starts with a nice piece of birdseye maple with ebony points and an ebony butt sleeve.  It has black, orange, green and maple veneers similar to traditional "Titleist" colors.  He adds a white linen wrap with green spleckles, a white delrin butt cap and an elforyn joint.

At the joint, and on the shaft ring collars he adds a pretty ring of small silver squares that add a touch of class to this cue.

He builds this stick with a 3/8X10 pin in a flat-faced wood-to-wood configuration that adds to its playability.  It has a nice clean butt sleeve of more of that pure black ebony.

It comes with two 13mm shafts with LBM ferrules and    tips.  This is a great playing cue, and a chance to get a very affordable cue from a top cuemaker whose name and reputation will only grow.
