MIKE LAMBROS
SIX POINT
STAINED MAPLE AND EBONY

You probably already know about the solid reputation of Lambros cues, so I won't spend a lot of time telling you how good this cue hits.  Nothing especially fancy about this one, but it's pretty and all business.

This is an ebony and maple cue, with an ebony butt sleever and six ebony points (three long, three short) going into a stained maple nose.  A simple, classy look.

It has a black line wrap with white speckles, and double white nickel silver rings at the butt cap, above and below the wrap, at the joint and on the ring collars of the shafts.

When I test hit this cue, it was hard to put it back in the case.  Not only does it have the Lambros "super joint" solid hit, it seems to have perfect balance.  (By the way, that is NOT a scratch in the buttsleeve in the picture above ... just something that wandered into the picture. The finish is perfect.)

Again, I'm not going to attempt to explain the Lambros Super Joint, but for anyone who doesn't know it, notice the matching male/female bevels on the joint and shafts.  It has a nice snug fit, and, as advertised, transfers a very solid hit.

This is not a new cue but it is in excellent condition.  One shaft shows a little play and the other looks almost new.  There are no dents, dings or scratches anywhere.  (You'll note below the "Lambros" logo the number "99", the year the cue was made.  I know the original owner and collector, and the cue was mostly kept in a case through the years and well taken care of.)

The bolt looks to be a 3/8X10, but it looks a little different, so it may be a proprietary tip made by Lambros for his sticks.

It comes with two 13mm shafts with LBM ferrules and layered tips. They may be Kamui, but I can't say for sure by looking.  It weighs 18.8 ounces with either shaft.

This is a nice stick.  It has great balance, a good hit and softly crunches the ball.  I understand Lambros cues can be difficult to get, and personally, I haven't seen many on the secondary market.
