| Mike Stacey Full Splice Player |
This is a nice little cue perfect for someone looking for a low-cost player's cue by a well-known cuemaker. It's a full splice, "sneakie pete" style cue with some nice wood and a few added details that make it stand out just a bit.

I'm not sure what wood makes up the butt of this cue, but I'm guessing cocobolo. If so, it's a little darker than usual, not "reddish", as cocobolo can sometimes be. He does a nice job of dressing this cue up ever so slightly, with a phenolic ring at the joint and as the butt cap, with some nifty ringwork added.
He uses a piloted joint with what appears to be a 3/8 X 10 pin into a metal insert. It's a perfect cue for someone wanting a nice player without attracting a lot of attention.

I took this cue in trade, so I can give it to someone at a great low price. It's in excellent condition - no nicks, dings, etc. - but the shaft does have a very slight wobble when rolled on a table. It's not enough to affect play, but it's enough that I need to mention it. The good news, that's part of what makes the price so good. PRICE: $350 PLUS SHIPPING.
