Here is another very pretty eight point cue from North Demon displaying some really pretty wood, siver and abalone rings, with a gorgeous black ringtail lizard wrap.

This is a tulipwood cue with eight points of ebony, up and down, with some beautiful ringwork. On most cues, this would be considered very fancy ringwork, but on a North Demon, it's probably considered just average.
I'm not going to spend a lot of time talking about North Demon cues in general. I have a lot of information on other North Demon pages about how well these cues are made, how well they play, and how beautiful they are. On this page I'm going to simply describe this cue. The tulipwood is outstanding, with great grain and color. And the ebony is black and clean.

Cheng used the same dazzling ring pattern in this cue as in the other eight pointers he made for me, and it really works. It's a pretty silver inlaid pattern with abalone diamonds lined with more silver. And just look at the beautiful color of this tulip wood ...

He uses the rings generously throughout the cue - above the butt cap, below and above the wrap, at the joint, and on the ring collar of the shaft.

This is really a slick design, with eight points going up and down. They are all sharp and even, as you come to expect on all North Demon cues.

He finishes it with a black phenolic joint and butt cap. As usual he engraves his logo in the butt cap.

Absolutely stunning wrap ...

This is a handsome cue - very classy - that will make someone a wonderful everyday playing cue. It's not overly fancy, but will attract attention nonetheless, and when it gets a closer look, will get lots of compliments.

| The ringwork, as usual, is awesome, with pretty silver swirls. They really help to "make" this stick, but in my opinion, in spite of the dazzling rings, the beautiful woods are the real stars of this stick.

As with all his sticks, he builds it with a receiver for an extension, which fits many of the generic ones built by Pedator and others.

It weighs 17.8 ounces as it lies without a weight bolt (14.2 and 3.6) and comes with his eight-piece weight bolt kit so you can make it suit your desired weight and balance. It has a titanium alloy radial bolt in a flat-faced joint. It is 58 inches long, and comes with one 13mm maple shaft with the North Demon special taper which has very low deflection. It plays a ton ... like all his cues.
