TIM PRINCE
SIX POINT
COCOBOLO AND MAPLE
"THE RADIANT DIAMOND"

Here is another spectacular cue from Tim, a traditional six pointer in cocobolo and maple.  As usual, all the work is expertly done, and the design is unique.

Because of the unique inlay pattern in the butt sleeve, I call this one the Radiant Diamond.  And it's radiant in more ways than one.

Tim continues to build some of the finest cues being built today.  As an expert machinist, you expect his work to be meticulous and precise, and he never fails to please.  His inlay work is among the best.

The kind of work Tim builds into his designs is painstaking.  It involves great care and diligent effort.  He makes extensive use of silver wire in many of his inlay patterns, and nobody does it any better.

As excited as I get whenever I see one of his new builds, I get even more thrilled when I hit with them.  They never disappoint.  They hit sold and crisp and immediately impress me as very, very functional sticks.

The woods in this one are of very good quality.  The maple is bright with lots of curls, and the cocobolo has a deep reddish-brown tone with beautiful, subtle grain.

He built this one as a six pointer, with three long and three short.  He uses the same veneer combination on all of the points, and also use the same diamond inlay pattern in all of them.

These silver and white inlays really show well against the dark cocobolo background.

You have to see this stick as a whole to appreciate all the different pieces that make it up.  Everything goes together perfectly.

He uses a blue, brown and turquoise veneer to frame all the points.  It's an excellent choice of complementary colors that come together for a captivating look.

As very typical with a lot of his cues, the ringwork is exquisite.  He never disappoints.  This one uses a series of inlays of silver and copper to form a flowing and stunning ring that is used throughout the cue.

As referenced earlier, the curly maple in this cue creates a stunning appearance.

His points are always clean - sharp and even.

As a final contribution to the overall sheer class of this stick, he wraps the handle with a nicely textured, soft to the feel black leather that looks and feels great.

Tim's shafts are always of some of the best maple you can find.  It's always clean and bright.  This stick comes with two, measuring 12.8 mm each, with matching ringwork, Sabre-T LBM ferrules and Ultraskin medium tips.
It weighs either 18.5 or 18.8 ounces depending on which shaft is used (14.9, 3.6, 3.9), and it's 58 inches long.

It's built with a 3/8 X 10 steel pin, and has the stylish "TP" logo engraved in the butt cap.
