Black Baron by Richard Black |
SORRY. THIS CUE WAS JUST SOLD. I'LL BE REPLACING IT WITH ANOTHER RICHARD BLACK CLASSIC SHORTLY.
|
This cue is a Richard Black mainstay -- one of the few cue designs that he's stayed with through the years. It also happens to be the design that many cue makers believe is the epitome of basic cue design. It is a complex, yet simple pattern of geometric forms and lines that come together to create a cue that is particularly striking to the eye.

| This one has a nose of birdseye maple that is stained grayish-brown, with four points of ebony. The butt sleeve is of the same ebony with a geometric pattern that is as nearly perfect as one could ever want in a cue. It has an ivory colored delrin butt cap, and a piloted stainless steel joint. It comes with two shafts with ivory ferrules that were handpicked by me. It has a black textured leather wrap, and is in NEW condition.

This cue is flawless and a great example of Richard Black's work at its best -- not to mention that it is one of the best values one will ever find in a custom made cue by a top name cue maker. Richard is included in almost everyone's top ten list of cue makers, and his work has been displayed in various one-man shows at well-known art museums. He has recently raised all his prices across the board, so the price of this cue continues to rise, and it is almost impossible to find this cue new.
It is matched with a beautiful light brown Italian leather case custom made by Ron Thomas of Houston, Texas, which was ordered especially for this cue. It is in NEW condition.
PRICE: $2600.00 PRICE WITH CASE: $2,950.00
