Over the last decade, Ron Thomas has earned a reputation as a premier casemaker. His cases are sleek, attractive, and extremely well-made. Although he makes mostly 1X2s and 2X4s, he is best known for his 1X2 tube cases. He make them with a clasp or without (suction fit). They provide a great fit for the cue and afford great protection.
He uses traditional leathers, fancy Italian leathers and a great variety of exotic hides. Most recently Ron has been focusing more and more on higher-end exotics such as hippopotamus, elephant, ostrich, shark, zebra and others. Best of all, he kills all the animals himself. (Just kidding!)
He groups his cases by calling them the Standard Series (basic leathers), the Signature Series (fancy leathers), and the Exotics (shark, ostrich, gator, elephant, hippopotamus, stingray, etc.) All cases are made to the same specifications and have the same built-in quality.
Fortunately, in spite of his success he's still making basic cases and has kept the prices well within reason. Below are pictures and brief descriptions of various Thomas cases.
